NCUA to offer free public webinar on financial planning on October 28

The National Credit Union Administration’s Taking Charge of Your Future with Financial Planning webinar will take place on October 28 at 1:00 pm eastern time. Online registration is open to the public and can be accessed with this link. 

This webinar is designed for consumers looking to develop their financial plans and skills, as well as credit unions and financial educators looking to develop programming and resources to assist the community members they serve with building solid financial strategies.

A financial advisor and experts from Labor Credit Union will offer attendees the opportunity to gain critical skills and knowledge to assist them with developing financial plans and moving towards achieving future financial goals. The webinar will provide attendees with tools to develop comprehensive strategies that support long-term financial stability and preparedness.

This webinar will be closed captioned and archived online approximately one week following the live event. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance by emailing WebinarQuestions@ncua.gov. The email’s subject line should read, “Financial Planning Webinar.”
