CFPB issues advisory related to popular payment apps
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has issued an advisory related to digital payment apps such as PayPal, Venmo and Cash-App. The advisory states that your money is at greater risk when you hold it in these payment apps instead of moving it to an account with deposit insurance.
